Have been a long time since the last post. So, there is my long-winded post. ^-^

May 1st
My cousin sister finally married her boyfriend. Whole family woke up before 6:30am to make sure we won’t be late as my father was not that familiar with the way. We reach my cousin brother’s house (where the bride will be waiting for her hubby to come) around 8:30am. So, the same old story goes. The bride arrived with her ‘sister-hood’ preparing all kind of stuff to fool the groom (eg. Banana, milk bottle with alcohol+low fat milk). Later the groom arrived. The question and answer session between the ‘sister-hood’ and the ‘brother-hood’ began. They only manage to answer a few questions right. Result? A lot of banana in the stomach and a lot of cash flow. Finally, get the bride. Tea drinking session began. Aunty, uncle give angpau after drinking a sip of the tea. Then, the still single youngsters, like ME, get angpau from the new wed. Ceremony ended. When for buffet lunch at the groom’s house; came back home after that to get some rest, need to attend the dinner in the evening. Dinner was quite good.

May 2nd
Had my first driving lesson from my father. He don’t seems to trust me. Didn’t even let me drive in the housing estate. He drove me to a car park lot, then we changed place, I droved. Father was clearly not impressed by my driving skills. He said I need at lease 10 more lessons with him before he can let me drive to school.

May 3rd
Miss Lee called my in the afternoon to invite me to Istana Budaya for the opening ceremony of the ‘KL Music Fest’. The performances were good. Really appreciate Miss Lee’s kindness of asking me there.

May 6th
Friends from the band gave 4 of us (Kim Wai, Lee Siong, Pan Yang and me) a surprise birthday celebration. Although the location was… quite dangerous (at a road side) but still we all had a good time.

May 7th
Started chemistry tuition at Pn Ng’s house. I found it hard to catch up. Some more I haven’t been going for tuition for more than 2 years. Still face some problem adapting to the current condition. In the evening, it was the KL Music Fest’s closing ceremony. It was not as good as the opening; but still considered a memorable show.

May 9th
Siu Yan (one of my best friends) treated us (Panda, Wei Mei and me) lunch; with her first hard earned RM50. We met at BRJ. Eating and chatting from noon till 4 pm. Lol, one of the shop waiters even tried to ‘shhu’ us away for sitting there too long. But thanks to Siu Yan which is a long time customer there, we get to stay there longer.

May 13th
Woke up early for the dental appointment. I got my lower jaw braced. Have some difficulties while eating, but if I want my teeth beautiful, I need to stand that.

May 15th
Father took me to learn driving again. This time, I did better on the road. So, my father teaches me something new – reverse 45 degrees parking. I tried parking for quite sometime but still fail to do it right. My father said with the way I park, I will knock other’s car before I park my car right. Sigh… When can I get it right? Sister came back from Melaka. She bought ‘Secret Recipe’ cake back from Melaka for me. ^-^ Wah a good sis right? Wonder why only now I realise. Haha.

May 16th
Another birthday celebration; but only for me. ^-^ Met Siu Yan, Panda and Wei Mei at JJ. We shopped for Siu Yan’s clothes for her performance on the 28th then went to Shakey’s Pizza to have our lunch; of course I didn’t need to pay a single cent this time. ^-^ While eating, they gave me my birthday present – Guang Liang’s latest CD ‘Tong Hua’ and a hand make card (done by, of course the talented Panda). Really thanks them. But I notice they seem to spend more money when celebrating my birthday. Hmm… maybe I should ask them to stop giving me so expensive present.

May 17th
Today starts school!!! I was ‘dim’ by my ex-3S friends to be one of the two science class representatives. It was still ok for me because as the representative, I thought I won’t need to do much, just the work a class monitor will do. But all those thought tumble down after recess. Pn Ambika calls me to the front of the class and give me my first task as a class representative – help organise the ‘Hari Guru’ + ‘Pn Rajes’s Farewell’ which will be held next Thursday. Oh god, I thought I will be free for the next few days until class starts; now I need to work my butt off. Sigh…
